Monte Verità

Conferences and workshops of the Centro Incontri Umani often take place at Monte Verità which belongs to the Canton Ticino. Monte Verità has a rich, fascinating historical background. It was frequented since the end of the 19th century, by anarchists, psychoanalysts, performers and artists. Ascona, where Monte Verità is located, became a haven for intellectual and artistic émigrés. International conferences take place at Monte Verità; the Centro Stefano Franscini of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich organised workshops there.
